From Gerd Luders in Chile:

"Two apparent laws of the Universe:

Everything is cyclic (like summer and winter, in your picture)

Everything is united (lack of negatives in Andean languages)"

Good to hear from you, Gerd.

Seventh October reminded me this poem of mine. It seems things are changing for better.

Let the darkness of night descend on all of us

A thick, cozy, warm darkness

That eliminates multitudes of identity

Based on sex, color, race, beliefs and ideology

Where soul can speak to the soul

A monastery which illuminates the inner space

Much better than

All the knowledge produced in the daylight dictates

Of power, wealth, and podiums of arrogance

Let the freedom to be prevail

Over the desire to be a secluded me

Let the dark oneness of night

Overcome the bright daylight walls

of breaking news, sermons and speeches

Isn’t the ambiguity of darkness-

A step ahead of certainty of shallowness of clarity

My dear Robert, You've done wonders in the eyes of the universe; you no longer have to worry about doing anything else. Now, do what you want to do at any given moment, and do what you can do while you can. That's all the universe built you for. If there are more interesting things to do, it's possibly in the dimension from which we come. And for now, that possibility is a mystery to us. Therefore, when that incomparable moment in our lives arrives, when we may finally discover the mystery, I will undoubtedly think that I'm going to the space we call death, with the same curiosity I've always had about the space we call life. So, my dear Robertson, continue doing what you want, whenever you want, and do what you can while you can. A big hug.

My dear friend Carlos, I am so touched by your advice, your wisdom, and your self knowledge. What a gift you are to me, to the Earth, to the Mystery. I am studying your words for clues to my actions. I love your curiosity, your kindness. your devotion to Mother Earth. A big hug back to you! Hope to see you sometime soon. How are you doing?
